HS UIL Academic Meet Results

UIL Social Studies placed 1^st in district! Graydon Boudreaux placed 1^st, Jacob McDaniel placed 3^rd, Jadon Voyles placed 6^th.

The team consisted of Gavin Ficco, Isabel Feagins, Jacob McDaniel, Jadon Voyles, Graydon Boudreaux, and Taylor Lovett.

Gus West placed third in Current Events and will be moving on to compete in the Regional Meet on April 25th.

Cort Reid placed second in Science and will also be competing at the Regional Meet.

The Journalism team coached by Miss Ruiz earned medals in two events:

In Feature Writing Faith Farris was fifth and Emily White was sixth.

In Copy Editing Graydon Boudreaux was fourth and Faith Farris was sixth.

The Math team, coached by Mr. Becker earned second place.

Earning medals as the top four on the team were Hunter Watts, Sam Innes, Cort Reid, and Lili Obenauf.

In Mathematics, Sam Innes won sixth place in a tiebreaker over Lili Obenauf. In Number Sense, Cort Reid earned fourth place.
