Goals of the LaPoynor Student Council:
- To provide effective leadership to the students of LaPoynor High School
- To instill democratic values in those member of the organizatios of LaPoynor High School
- To provide an active student life for the student body at large
- To encourage and give assistance to the students of LaPoynor High School
- To develop a closer bond of friendship and goodwill among the students of LaPoynor High School, the students of the LaPoynor district, and the community
- To give students a voice in school functions
- To provide a school-wide framework for the governing of clubs and organizations
