Whether you’re new to the area or returning for another great year, our enrollment process is designed to be simple and straightforward. Here, you’ll find all the information you need to get started and ensure a smooth transition into our schools.

What are the age requirements for enrollment?
A child must be at least 4 years old on September 1st of the current school year to enroll in Pre-K.
A child must be at least 5 years old on September 1st of the current school year to enroll in Kindergarten and under 21 to enroll in standard public schools.
Are Immunizations mandatory to start school?
Yes. Students must receive required vaccinations or have a valid,original notarized exemption on file.
Can I complete the registration forms on paper?
All registration forms will be completed electronically. No paper registration forms will be available.
I do not have access to a phone or computer: how can I register my student?
LaPoynor campuses will provide a laptop for registration purposes. We can assist you on campus with completing the online registration process.
Where do I go to create a username and password for LPISD registration?
Do I need all the Required Documents to complete online registration?
Yes. Ascender requires all documents to be uploaded before submitting the registration.
Do I need to register my currently enrolled student for the upcoming school year?Yes. Students who will attend LPISD for the next school year must complete the annual registration process.
What happens after I complete online registration?
Once all forms are completed, the registration will go to the district registrar. The registrar will contact you if more information is needed. You may also contact the registrar if you need more information or if you have any questions.

Parent/Guardian's Valid Driver's License
Proof of Residence – Provide a copy of the top portion of a water, gas, or electric bill showing the service address within the past 30 days
Leaser/Renter – Provide a current signed lease agreement, the parent or guardian must be listed as a lease holder or occupant. An Affidavit for Verification of Residency must be completed by the Parent or Guardian if a utility bill or current signed lease agreement can not be provided in the parent/guardian's name.

Parent – Biological, Adoptive, or Foster
Legal Guardian – Individuals with legal custody granted by court order
Independent Students – Students who are 18 or older, or students under 18 living separate and apart from their parents and managing their own financial affairs
